The higher the VG (Vegetable Glycerin) content the “safer” the vape juice is. All vape juices are relatively “safe” although don't forget that most contain nicotine as well. People are steadily moving away from mixtures that are 50%VG/50%PG (Propylene Glycol) and are moving to either 70–80%VG/30–20%PG and a lot of vapers are now moving to flavours deemed “Max VG” which contains almost all VG (Vegetable Glycerin) and only the PG that is in the artificial flavouring because most flavours have a propylene glycol base to them (but not much). Propylene glycol is used in food processing and is safe for humans, but it is also used as a preservative in things like anti-freeze. (Don’t let that get you down.) PG is safe but it’s the PG that is the flavour carrier in e-juice so it will always play a role. But with new tanks and RDA’S, it isn’t needed as much. PG also gives you the “throat hit” feeling in your throat like you are smoking a cigarette and as more and more vapours quit smoking altogether, the throat hit isn’t really necessary anymore. Don’t forget your nicotine level either. The “technically safest” vape juice would be a “Max VG/0 mg nicotine (containing no nicotine at all, and very little PG) vape juice.” I hope this helps.
