Symantec Ghost Corporate Edition also able to backup/clone Apple HSF partition.
With Ghost, you can backup/clone full disk or partition only to image file (.gho)
and save them to local HD or external USB/fireware NTFS/FAT32 drive or burn directly to CD/DVD.
or just clone disk-to-disk or partition-to-partition.
It easy to restore and useful for dual/multi booting OSX with Windows.

I have created a bootable ISO & FLP image using Symantec Ghost Solution Suite 2.5.

* ISO: Bootable CD, burn to CD (image-to-disc).
incl. manual and ghost.exe for win32 & x64 which is can running on Windows 32bit/64bit environment.

* FLP: Bootable floppy image.
Useful for those who using GRUB Bootloder
place ghost.flp to one of your root drive (FAT/FAT32/NTFS) then call it on menu.lst

How To Backup

1. Boot the CD, or run ghost.exe for Windows, or call via GRUB.

At navigation menu, select backup method:

- Disk to Disk

- Disk to Image

- Partition to Partition

- Partition to Image

- Select 'Disk/Partition to Image' for backup to CD/DVD

Select the source disk









# Select CD/DVD Writer if you want to burn to CD/DVD.

# Choose Compression method
I usually use Fast Compression.





1. You can check the integrity of image file or disk.
Local > Check > Image file / disk.

How to Restore

Select restore method at navigation menu:
- Disk to Disk
- Disk from Image
- Partition to Partition
- Partition from Image
- Select 'Disk/Partition from Image' for restore from CD/DVD.



Next step like backup method above, just select source of backup image file or disk/partition.
