I dont understood... you ar asking if your iphone can run any app... sure but some apps that need more grafics can be runned mo smoothless in newer versions... but yeah you can run a lot of apps... to download them you ahve 2 choices:

1: jailbreak and cydia and after installous ( its free)

2: or like me buy apps in the apple app store
